Here I will explain I expect as a DM to see in this roleplay experience.
Rule 0 Roleplaying games are entertainment; your goal as a group is to make your games as entertaining as possible.
By this I am referring to the fact that this game is meant to be fun. If at any time you feel like you are not having fun do not hesitate to contact me and I will attempt to remedy the situation as fast as I am able. Although this goes the same way in reverse. I am creating this experience for my own enjoyment as well. So if I see that you are making the game less enjoyable for myself or any player, I will warn you. If I am required to warn you multiple times I will not hesitate to remove you from the game if I see it necessary.
Posting
I would like to see this game to have indepth posts that involve a character's actions really shine with their characters. For this to occur I expect two things.
1. I would like all players to make at least a single post each day.
I know there will be times when this is impossible, if so please contact me and I will make arrangements for it.
2. I would like all posts to be a minimum of 3 complete sentences, and would prefer if they did not go over 10 sentences long.
While I know you have some wonderful things to do in character, I would also prefer if the other players did not have a short novel to read in an attempt to figure out that you went to the market to buy a new sword.
An example of a post would be something like this:
This is example shows that if you intend to make any sort of dice rolls, for attacks, skill checks, etc, please do not assume that your action succeeds. This gives the player or the DM to react to your roll and make the appropriate response.
3. Do not ever assume control of another Player's Character
This means never acting out another player's character actions during your posts. The only character you will ever fully control will be your own.
Player Character Conflict
1. At no point should a player attempt to start combat with another player.
This is expressly forbidden and will you will only receive a single warning before harsh punishments are enacted.
2. Player arguments are encouraged
While arguments of words and debates are greatly encouraged. Acting in character and playing out the game is a much more enjoyable experience.
Cheating
Metagaming: is the concept of bringing in knowledge that you as a player know, from outside of the game, into your character.
An example of this would be a pyromaniac wizard knowing that a specific monster has a resistance to fire, but your character has never seen, or even known of the existence of that monster. So instead of using their favorite fireball spell, they instead use a frostbolt. This is something that the character would never do in this instance and is expressly cheating.
Cheating: There are other methods of cheating that I will not specifically go over in hopes that the players will not determine them. But I will only give a single warning for anyone caught cheating. If attempted a second time I will promptly be removing you from the game.
This page is subject to change over the course of play as we all learn more about it. But please attempt to have most fun possible with both myself and the other players you will be interacting with. If you do I'm sure we will all have a wonderful time.

Gisla lays his back against the prison walls that he'd been confined into. His eyes narrowing at the guard that seemed to be taking a rest just a few feet from the cell. He slowly moves to his hands and feet as he stealthily crawls over towards his captor. His fingers slip down next to the man's belt as he searches for the keys that will lead him to his freedom.
